Abe Herbaugh: Sandblasted Dublin with Silver Spigot Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-614-0217
Abe Herbaugh is an American pipe artisan who pulls most of his inspiration from the Danish school of design and channels that influence through his personal creative prism. As one of the United States' more accomplished pipe craftsmen, Herbaugh is often seen using sophisticated accents that further elevate the quality of his pieces. Such design choices can be seen in this Dublin from Abe Herbaugh, which boasts impressive line work and an ornate accent that catches the eye. While not a true Nosewarmer, this petite pipe does measure less than five inches long and maintains a lightweight presence, ideal for travel and on-the-go smoking. The fore of this pipe is classically inclined, with the walls of the bowl rising and flaring from a subtly lifted heel toward the rim. A broad transition gives way to an abbreviated shank that quickly meets the aforementioned accent cut from silver. Said silver spigot adds a pop of shine to the design, as it's bookended by the dark hues of the sandblasted stummel and jet-black vulcanite stem.
