Alexander Tupitsyn: Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Boxwood
Product Number: 002-622-0034
If you're familiar with Alexander Tupitsyn's work, this is likely a shape you've seen before. In fact, I would consider this bent Dublin one of the talented artisan's signature designs, as it incorporates so many of Alexander's influences and iconic shaping cues. The subtle cant of the bowl, the low-profile of the oval shank, the subtly arcing lines along the underside, the bold, Ilsted-esque heel, the overall dynamic and powerful silhouette. all these elements can be found across many of his designs, but they all come together here to create something truly unforgettable. This example's finished in a near jet-black sandblast with only a boxwood band to accent — offering a more formal option for those of you who, like me, just love this shape.
