Andreas Bennwik: Smooth Tomato Tobacco Pipe

Low, broad, and easy, but with a nice little spirited lift to heel, waistline, and that last inch or so of stem, this is one impressive Tomato from Andreas Bennwik. I'm not surprised, since although this is quite a different shape from the other bent designs appearing in this first batch (a handy bent Brandy and three quite forward bent Dublins), throughout the lot of them it's quite clear Andreas knows how to produce great flow. This shape, being the most horizontally-oriented, just makes a natural showcase for that skill. Being quite a broad shape, it also makes a natural showcase for birdseye too, of course — and Andreas didn't neglect to coax plenty of that out of the briar either.
