Bill Shalosky: Sandblasted Volcano (363) Tobacco Pipe

Though not his most blatantly streamlined nor his most softly organic, this poised Volcano sees Bill Shalosky continuing to play with aspects of the line and stance of the famous shape chart standard. The result is something a bit less dramatic of gesture about the underside, though with a bit more height to the bowl in profile, and accordingly, more surface area for Bill to showcase this briar's incredible stacked ring-grain. Said grain is stained very dark, complemented by a rich saddle stem of beautiful cumberland for a sprinkle of color.
