Bill Shalosky: Sandblasted Billiard with Boxwood (491)
Product Number: 002-720-0126
Bill Shalosky has a profound talent for combining form and proportion, typically imbued with a sense of full-bodied curvature. This straight Billiard, though well on the more traditional end of the carver's shaping spectrum, certainly displays that acumen, revealing a sense of streamlined boldness and muscularity, accentuated through a neatly-tucked transition and forward-canted, Danish-inclined Billiard bowl. Finished in a rich crimson contrast sandblast, it features a yellow band of boxwood as an accent at the base of the stem and a pleasant cross-cut pattern, with plenty of blasted birdseye on each flank.- Chuck Stanion
