Brigham: Pipe of the Year 2013 Sandblasted Zulu (61/100) (Rock Maple Inserts)
Product Number: 002-491-1376
Brigham's War of 1812/Pipe of the Year series commemorates the two centuries of peace between the US and Canada, while simultaneously honoring particular key figures. The 2013 pipe is the second installment, and focuses on the battles that took place at sea, and in particular honors Admiral Mathew C. Perry of the US Navy. The shape, naturally enough, is a Zulu, a.k.a. the Yachtsman, bearing a substantial pewter band. Along with the pipe, this set includes a tamper cast in the image of Admiral Perry, a Canadian "toonie" coin, bearing an image of the HMS Shannon
, and a special presentation box featuring Derek Gardner's painting of the battle between the USS United States
and the HMS Macedonian
