Brigham: Tundra (29) (Rock Maple Inserts) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-491-8373

Brigham's "29" bent Apple shares many similarities with the Prince shape, namely the demure downturn of the stem and the low-slung transition. However, the "29" possesses a more muscular aesthetic than the traditional Prince; the robust bowl feels palpably plump in hand, and the thick shank lends the composition a sturdy balance. Additionally, the underside features a flattened surface, making the curvaceous "29" a surprisingly stable Sitter.

Brigham's Tundra series takes inspiration from its eponymous region, the Canadian marque capturing the frigid landscape's palette of light and dark hues through a contrast-rich sandblast. The finish reveals handsome grain throughout, its striking stain defining the grain patterns well and contrasted by the smooth rim. Additionally, the shank is accented by a band of brass for a touch of refinement, while a jet-black stem keeps the composition timeless.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
