Brigham: Klondike (02) (Rock Maple Inserts) Tobacco Pipe

Brigham's "02" is a timeless rendition of the straight Billiard: The pert bowl gently tapers to the rim; the shank presents a proportional profile; and the tapered stem terminates at a trim bit. However, the shank-and-stem arrangement is slightly thicker than usual here to accommodate Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, which contributes to the muscular disposition of the "02."

Named for the Klondike region of northwestern Canada's Yukon territory, the Klondike series is among Brigham's most premium offerings, combining excellent quality briar with a golden-amber stain polished to showcase the briar's natural grain. Presented across 13 of the Canadian marque's signature shapes, the Klondike line is an homage to Canada's natural beauty and the Klondike region's historic gold rush through the late 19th century.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
