Brigham: Heritage (30) (Rock Maple Inserts) Tobacco Pipe

A bent Brandy of stout demeanor, Brigham's "30" shape shares a similar posture to the Canadian marque's "36S" design: Both display an angled shank and slightly bent stem, only with the "36" featuring a bowl that tapers upward from a pronounced base. Though its taper is well defined, the bowl remains squat and stolid like that of a Pot, offering a substantial presence in hand and matching well with the shank's hearty nature.

Brigham's Heritage series presents a variety of the Canadian marque's signature shapes in a rich, auburn-hued smooth finish. It's a vibrant yet traditional dress that brilliantly accentuates Brigham's subdued, classical shaping style. The finish here highlights gorgeous grain throughout the stummel, its lush hues complemented by the jet-black coloration of the mouthpiece.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
