Brigham: Mountaineer (363) (Rock Maple Inserts) Tobacco Pipe

One of Brigham's unique takes on the Acorn shape, the "63" is a strikingly vertical iteration of the modern classic shape, complete with a plump, forward-canting bowl. This bowl flares out to a rounded rim as it rises atop a flattened heel that's centered nearer to the fore and lifts up to a tapering stretch of shank and stem. This combination rises quite tall, making this piece an ideal jaw-hanger.

The Mountaineer line is a smooth and traditional collection of pipes offered across a wide array of Brigham's shape chart. The finish is characterized by a rich walnut finish that always brings out the best in a pipe's grain. The effect produced is a timeless aesthetic at home on a back porch or mountain lodge.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
