Brulor: Smooth Churchwarden Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-945-0693

Originally established by the Brulois family, Brulor was an early 20th century pipe brand known primarily in its native country of France. Brulor pipes were crafted in Saint Claude at the Ropp, Jeantet, and Charles Hecht factories until the end of the 1950s, when the French brand ceased production and seemed fated to fade into relative obscurity. That is until the mid-2010s, when pipe artisan Bruno Nuttens procured a supply of vintage Brulor pipes and decided to resurrect the once-defunct brand. Though varied in terms of shape, finish, and stamping, these Brulor pipes — all of which date to the 1940s or earlier — represent vintage French craftsmanship as it existed during the first half of the 20th century. Furthermore, these Brulor pieces feature well-aged briar and their original stems, ensuring their appeal to collectors of old-school pipe design.
