Chacom: Sandblasted Churchwarden (F4) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-512-6824
The Churchwarden design dates to when pipes were primarily fashioned from clay, before briar was discovered as a useful medium. Those old clay pipes were staples in taverns and public houses, marked by long, willowy forms, and the style remains popular today among briar pipes as well. The long stem provides a comfortable, leisurely smoking posture, and many pipe smokers laud Churchwardens for their utility while reading or lounging in a favorite armchair. These are pipes meant for reflective smoking sessions, and Chacom's Churchwarden series offers these slender designs in a range of shapes and finishes, all marked by chic metal accents that resembles a domed military mount but house a standard mortise-and-tenon arrangement. Offered here is the French marque's stout "F4" bent Dublin design in a traditional sandblast.
