Plump and pert, this "1201" straight Billiard from French marque Chacom presents with a thick length of shank and stem combination, with the junction point marked by a trim band of silvery metal. The transition is wide, leaving more than enough room to drape a thumb, and the bowl that it leads to builds up from a rounded heel, its sweeping fore lending it some roundness that offers a comfortable feel in hand. Dressing the stummel is a warm stain and textural rustication, courtesy of the aptly named "Rustic" series, which offers a pleasing pastoral aesthetic.
