This Blowfish is a fetching showcase of Iafisco's recognizable style, displaying his affinity for precise lines and stunning finishes. A stocky interpretation of the classic form, this piece boasts a horizontally compressed bowl that's unevenly bifurcated by two crisp ridgelines. Both of said ridgelines frame their respective flanks of the bowl and terminate near the transition in a pronounced flare that evokes the fins of a fish. Out back, a sweeping shank balances the bowl and terminates at a broad, curved face that marks the start of a demurely bent saddle stem. A gorgeous, honey-hued natural smooth finish dresses the ensemble and highlights gorgeous grain throughout the stummel, with tight clusters of birdseye radiating across the briar's flanks.
