Doctor's: Sandblasted Bent Apple with Bamboo and Polymerized Dinosaur Bone (Double Flash) Tobacco Pipe

Delightfully rounded of bowl, this bent Apple offers some of the most precise work we've seen from Roman Kovalev of Doctor's pipes. No detail has been overlooked, from its crisp sandblast, which reveals stacked ring-grain from top to bottom, to the extra-trim shank, to the truly impressive display of a shank extension. The latter deserves a great deal of attention, in fact — a craggy piece of bamboo has been inlaid with small pieces of polymerized dinosaur bone, each polished and fitted with absolute precision. The motif has been extended to the stem base, as well, with several pieces inlaid for a seamless design. Even on the interior of the piece, no detail has been left to chance, with the metal tenon beveled off at the end, rather than left sharp and level. One of the most unique pieces we've seen yet, it's a beautiful, one-of-a-kind design all around.
