Emiliano: Sandblasted Bent Egg with Bamboo Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-946-0015
Brazilian carver Emanuel de Queiroz Emiliano crafts a wide range of pipes, from unique, sculpture-inspired Freehands to more traditional shape-chart standards, with this bent Egg being an example of the latter. Up front, a plump bowl stands atop a lifted heel and grows trim walls that terminate at a taut rim. An upturned shank and a demurely curved saddle stem support said bowl and boast an elegant curvature that promotes a comfortable smoking posture. Two knuckles of bamboo extend the shank and add a touch of warmth to the pipe's otherwise dark palette. Dressing this piece is a crisp, inky sandblast that highlights healthy grain throughout the stummel.
