The grain of the morta piece from Giacomo Penzo is perfectly oriented, with concentric rings descending all the way down the bowl to the point at the heel, which is centered in the ring pattern. Very light in weight, with a subtle texture, the bowl has a relatively wide transition that steps down immediately to three-knuckle bamboo shank, colored to better match the pipe. A delicate and flaring saddle stem completes the package, widening into a flat, comfortable configuration.
