Displaying a bold, sweeping profile, this bent Billiard from Giacomo Penzo features a tall, almost cylindrical bowl with a plump, extended heel and a subtle taper toward the rim. A particularly sinuous S-curve out back looks somewhat serpentine, with the elongated, gently downturned stem promoting a comfortable smoking posture. A well-executed sandblast unveils stunning cross grain beneath an earthy contrast stain. A stellar pipe from a multi-talented artisan.
