Grechukhin Design: Partially Sandblasted Bent Dublin Sitter with Ivorite
Product Number: 002-808-0022
The Grechukhin Design series offers up handmade briars from Vladimir Grechukhin himself, finished beautifully by Alexander Tupitsyn as part of a joint effort. This bent Dublin is one of those remarkable pieces, its flattened foot below the bowl allowing it to sit quite steadily, while the bowl boasts a strong forward cant. It's been finished in a crisp sandblast, with a whole lot of well-defined ring grain on display, as well as a broad swath of smooth-polished rim. It's accented with a domed shank end of ivorite, its light color striking against the two-toned warmth of the rest of the stummel.- Rachel DuBose
