Grechukhin Design: Sandblasted Billiard with Ivorite
Product Number: 002-808-0029
Vladimir Grechukhin is known for his sometimes wild and sculptural designs, but he is quite skilled at classic shapes, as well. This Grechukhin Design piece is quite the fine example of that classic ability, a straight Billiard with a good bit of plumpness around its bowl, as well as a trim line to its shank and saddle stem. It's been finished in a low-profile sandblast that manages to bring out a whole lot of grain, the work of Alexander Tupitsyn and his skill with the blasting cabinet. Throw in a band of ivorite to accent, and this is a classic that is as charming as it is streamlined.- Rachel DuBose
