Grechukhin Design: Sandblasted Bent Brandy with Silver

Product Number: 002-808-0034

This Grechukhin Design offering is not only the first bent Brandy we've received from the Russian workshop, it's also one of the first pieces we've seen from them accented with silver. Grechukhin's unique style is readily evident here as the bowl displays plenty of Danish influence, also featuring robust proportions and plump cheeks, and is followed by a lengthy, graceful stretch of shank out back. It's a bold design, displaying a muscular and poised profile, while also showcasing the Russian master's dynamic approach to shaping. Finished by Alexander Tupitsyn, the low-profile sandblast has managed to bring out a wealth of wavy grain, while the smooth rim and sterling silver band are smart ways to contrast the stummel's dark, earthy stain.
