Grechukhin: Smooth Blowfish with Polymerized Organics (G) Tobacco Pipe

Vladimir Grechukhin is an expert at these plump, compact designs, which lend themselves to the Blowfish shape. It should be no wonder, then, that this is quite a nice take on the Blowfish — slightly asymmetrical, its lines carefully dividing the flanks of dense birdseye from a panel of delicate cross-grain down the center. The stummel has been finished in an electric contrast, the grain highlighted in warm walnut tones, while a stem accent of polymerized organics offers a touch of darker coloring to the overall palette. Shapely and elegant, it's excellent work from Grechukhin.
