Grechukhin: Sandblasted Chubby Bent Apple with Silver

I find that chubby pipes tend to fill the hand quite nicely, and this Grechukhin bent Apple is no exception. Plump and softly rounded, it feels quite substantial in hand despite its abbreviated length, all while offering a surprisingly substantial chamber. I'm quite partial to this type of finish, as well — a combination of clean sandblast, the briar's growth rings peeking through, with a contrast stain showing the underlying flame grain, all topped with a sterling silver band for a touch of flash. It's a dynamic little number, and should be easy enough to tuck in a pocket while on the go.
