Henri Sorensen: Smooth Bent Dublin with Acrylic Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-784-0001

Sinuous and wasp-like, with an Ivarsson-esque expanding shank and a tight transition, this smooth Dublin from Henri Sørensen is impressive in profile and in hand. A decorative acrylic fitment separates the vulcanite stem from the shank with subtle, understated color tones. The design aesthetic here is consistent, with the domed top echoing the soft curves of the bowl and shank, and a nub at the heel to help visually distinguish the bowl as a separate element while still complementary to the shank. The thin saddle stem throws the visual weight to the stummel, where it should be in this case. With excellent grain highlighted by a dark contrast stain, this is a pipe that will make some lucky smoker very happy.
