Jacono: Bishop Volcano

Product Number: 002-616-0740

Out of Tonino Jacono's various Volcano renditions, this is the most common iteration. Characterized by a fluid, sweeping underside that extends past the fore in a fetching lip, the bowl tapers strikingly toward the rim, flowing seamlessly from out of the gentle transition. The heel is noticeably more rounded compared to past renditions, yet still manages to sit surprisingly well after some initial rocking back and forth. Thanks to the bowl's pinched waistline and easy transition, this piece fits sublimely in hand, conforming naturally to wrapped fingers. Here, it boasts the Bishop's dual finish, featuring a smooth, contrast-stained bowl that's rife with beautiful grain with a patch of rustication wrapping around the shank's topside near the mortise.
