Jacono: Queen Bent Dublin with Silver (EE) (Checkmate)
Product Number: 002-616-0806
Tonino Jacono's "Queen" grade is the Italian artisan's second highest designation below King and is reserved for pipes with exceptionally nice grain. So it's no wonder this bent Dublin earned the stamp, boasting a full 360 degrees of flame grain around its bowl. A natural plateau crown is particularly fitting, given its namesake, and provides a touch of playfulness to an otherwise stout-bowled shape with a sharp heel spur. Additionally, a bright band of silver provides a touch of elegance and the sand-colored acrylic stem complements the warm, honey-blonde stain of the stummel. This is indeed a handsome piece that is sure to please fans of Jacono's work.-Angela Robertson
