Jacono: Rook Cherrywood (E)

Product Number: 002-616-0861

Offering the same cylindrical bowl and sturdy-sitting capabilities of the Poker but with a bent stem, the Cherrywood is a shape that requires perfect balance. When rendered by someone with Tonino Jacono's talent, there's nothing to worry about as this Rook offering aptly demonstrates. The more squat style of bowl adds a muscular presence and is canted forward to offset the angle and bend of the shank and stem. The smooth, auburn stain highlights tight streaks of flame grain that engulf the bowl's flanks in beautiful conformity with the shape while swirling birdseye patterns populate the rim and heel. The honey tones of the acrylic saddle stem blend well with the stummel's coloration, creating an aesthetically cohesive and versatile smoking instrument.
