Jacono: Smooth Olivewood Billiard Tobacco Pipe

Though the shaping of this Billiard from Tonino leans heavily toward the typical Italian neoclassic design, the use of materials and overall presentation makes it a rather modernist interpretation. Here, the stummel is fashioned from olivewood, vividly displaying the wood's iconic and wild grain pattern in inky trails across the bowl and shank. For the stem, then, Jacono has used acrylic of a deep, forest green hue, the swirled texture matching well with the stummel's grain while the color contrasts well against the olivewood's sandy tones.
