Jacono: Queen Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-616-1246

Jacono's Queen grade is his second highest, bested only by his seldom-seen King grade, and is reserved for pipes with exception grain, which this bent Dublin certainly possesses. The tall, muscular bowl boasts thick insulating walls that conceal a deep tobacco chamber, and it flares at the fore a sweeping shank-and-stem arrangement. While the stout proportions of the bowl keep most of the visual weight anchored at the front of the composition, the shank curls upwards and terminates at approximately the same height as the bowl, creating a subtle sense of visual balance in profile. A smoky, tan and black smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights tightly knit stands of flame grain that reach toward a rim populated with birdseye. A hardwood accent along the shank end provides a touch of complementary color to the rest of the stummel and further reinforces this piece's charming elegance.
