Jacono: Rook Bent Bulldog (Checkmate) Tobacco Pipe

Tonino Jacono's portfolio is dominated by classic pipe shapes. That said, though, the bent Bulldog is a rarer design from the Italian carver, compared to his more prevalent Brandy and Apple renditions. An especially robust, curvaceous and voluptuous bent Bulldog is offered here, catering to Tonino's signature style, and the flowing lines of the profile serve to contrast the more rigid lines defining the diamond shank and beadlined bowl. It's found here in the Rook finish, one of Jacono's smooth stains, highlighting a lively array of grain, with its Checkmate stamping denoting the briar's large size.
