Jacono: Smooth Olivewood Apple Tobacco Pipe

Tonino Jacono, along with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, created the Jacono company in 1981. While each member had their own roles, they were all united by the common goal of creating high-quality pipes at a fair price. This Apple from Jacono boasts a comfortable presence in hand, featuring a plump, hearty bowl posed at the fore of the composition with a subtle forward cant, formed by smooth, supple walls curving gently from heel to rim. Out back, a muscular shank emerges from the transition, carrying a gradual as it meets a stem of swirling green acrylic, the pair lending greater visual weight to the bowl. Fashioned from olivewood, the stummel displays wavy grain patterning around the stummel beneath a light, smooth stain.
