Jacono: Knight Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-616-1515
Tonino Jacono, along with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, created the Jacono company in 1981. While each member had their own roles, they were all united by the common goal of creating high-quality pipes at a fair price. With its graceful, poised posture and plump figure, this bent Apple from Jacono makes for a particularly comfortable pipe. The bowl's walls contour well to the hand, curving gracefully from the broad base toward the flat rim. A sturdy shank gently lifts out of the transition from the bowl and joins to a demurely downturned, tapered stem of jet-black acrylic, the pair lending a sense of gesture to the composition. Jacono pipes are graded according to a chess-themed naming convention, with this "Knight" piece wearing a dark, craggy rustication that offers a wealth of tactile detail for the hand to appreciate.
