Jacono: Bishop Long Shank Dublin Sitter Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-616-1619

Tonino Jacono, along with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, created the Jacono company in 1981. While each member had their own roles, they were all united by the common goal of creating high-quality pipes at a fair price. A truly unique offering from the Italian workshop, this Dublin is a striking rendition that features an unusually long shank, which takes up the majority of the pipe's length—measuring over six inches. The bowl showcases a cinched waist before flaring outward to a flat rim, creating an ideal platform to wrap a finger around. Both the heel and the underside of the shank are paneled, allowing this piece to sit stably without the aid of a pipe stand, making it a perfect choice for the multitasking smoker. Finishing off the profile is an abbreviated saddle stem of mocha-hued acrylic, offering a cool-toned contrast to the warmer hues of the stummel. The stummel itself wears Jacono's dual-textured Bishop finish: the bowl is dressed in a honey-blonde smooth stain that highlights handsome tendrils of flame grain throughout, while the remainder of the stummel features a craggy rustication for added texture and visual depth.
