Jerry Zenn: Smooth Bent Dublin (748)
Product Number: 002-788-0010
A unique bent Dublin, here Jerry Zenn has taken the traditional shape, and imbued some of his own style. A forward-canted bowl is topped with a delicate plateau crown, though rather than the taper we usually find, the lower bowl has been nearly flattened — a dramatic lift to the fore, while the rear melts seamlessly into the transition and cleanly-paneled shank. On all sides, the graining is fantastic, with dense licks of flame climbing the bowl's walls. And at the very rear, a brindled vulcanite mouthpiece offers some cool tones of green and black. Very fine work.- Rachel DuBose
