Martelo: Sandblasted Oval Shank Billiard Tobacco Pipe

An irresistibly deep blast of the wide growth rings in this stummel provide remarkable texture in such a relatively diminutive piece. The oval shank of this Billiard from Gustavo Cunha of Martelo helps commend the bowl as its own element, thought the color palette unifies the composition with its engrossing contrast stain. The mouthpiece is vulcanite and of a subtle, muted blue/gray, maintaining traditional conservatism while imbuing it with a touch of modernism and color.
