Michail Kyriazanos: Smooth Lovat Tobacco Pipe

Very lightweight and very slender, with proportions to make any minimalist's heart beat faster, this Kyriazanos Lovat features a flawlessly shaped bowl rising from a tight transition in an irresistible chestnut stain highlighting cross grain orientation. A remarkable aspect of this piece is the color of the vulcanite mouthpiece which Kyriazanos specifically chose to simulate the color of vintage, oxidized ebonite that has turned grayish/green with time. This mouthpiece, however, is pristine and smooth, and it's intriguing that this color we've all been conditioned to disparage is in this form quite fetching. The rim is very gently concave, and the shank tapers almost imperceptibly toward the stem of this light classic shape.
