As part of a collaboration with boutique blending house Cornell & Diehl, this series from Missouri Meerschaum presents elevated takes on the traditional workhorse corn cob pipe.
This handy offering, the Carolina Gent, is a pipe of modest length, fitted with a comfortable saddle-stem of high-quality Italian acrylic, along with a handsome nickel band. Designed by Jeremy Reeves, Head Blender for Cornell & Diehl, and Phil Morgan of Missouri Meerschaum, it's a practical design with no shortage of elegant charm. Put simply: it should look just as dapper at a Charleston pub as it will by the campfire.

It's a Missouri Meer to be sure. The acrylic saddle bit is very nice. I wish I could add this stem to all my cobs. Handles being clenched nicely. And as always, smokes great.

r when you're out and about and need your hands free to do other things. Personally I'm not a big fan of nose-warmers because they tend to be, well, warm! The smoke sometimes gets hot from a short shank and stem combo). However, this one's not bad. Overall, I'd say it was a wise purchase. I've enjoyed countless smokes with this pipe, and I'm sure it'll be with me for many more years to come....Read More
