Missouri Meerschaum: Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-543-0064

To celebrate U.S. Independence Day 2021, Missouri Meerschaum released the Let Freedom Ring series, featuring corn cob pipes in a naturally rustic texture and color palette fitted to an amber-hued acrylic stem. Offered here is the bent version of their popular Rob Roy shape, marked by a slight flaring bowl and rounded rim.

Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.

Fantastic Smoker

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm)
I bought my Let Freedom Ring bent cob back in 2021 not long after this line was introduced. I use it every morning to smoke my first pipe of the day, typically with Gawith Hoggarth, Dark Plug. So, it's been smoke nearly 1000 times now. It's light weight, and the raw cob texture helps keep the weight down and the smoke cool. Well worth the less than $10 I paid for it. Smokes as well as pipes that run several hundred dollars....Read More

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm)
When this first came out, just about bought it. The reason why I didn't, is I don't like the rough feel of the bowl when holding it. I purchased it for a future brother-in-law. He is showing some interest in the pipe. Bought this one because he picked it out, a nail tamper, and a wind cap. If it last through the tongue bite of just getting started, I will get him some good baccy....Read More

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm)
Great pipe for beginners. Felt like quality in hand. The rough bowl texture helps keep it stable in hand. Burnt well and seemed forgiving of my novice lighting technique.

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm)
This is one of the lightest pipes I own. It’s the size of the legend with the weight of the naked Morgan and has a bit superior to both.
Very unique!

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm)
I purchased both to smoke while taking my daughter for a walk in her stroller daily as I constantly drop my Grabows picking up her toys etc and these are so lightweight and cheap! Love the dark stain, the danish bits that are wider and the unfinished surface smokes very cool! For $7 what more could you ask for?...Read More

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm)
Just received my Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy this week and had my first smoke with it. I am so pleased with it that I have just ordered two more. In the past I have not been drawn to the unfinished cob but decided to give this one a try. Pictures do not do this pipe justice. It just looks great simple as that. It has a good natural feel to it too. It has a real good draw too. The Rob Roy shape is one of my favorites and I can see this one becoming one of my go to pipes. I have the Let Freedom Ring 5th Avenue too and expect it to be just as good. To be able to get this pipe for $6.95 makes it even sweeter experience. Hope they carry this pipe for a long time....Read More
Tastes like the finish

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy Bent (6mm)
I am a huge fan of Missouri Meerschaum's products and love their pipes but something about the stain on these particular pipes is just awful. I purchased one of each shape in the Let Freedom Ring series and although they are both quite attractive but both imparted a strong chemical taste in to the smoke. I tried several bowls to see if it would go away, checked the same tobacco I was using in my briars and other MM cobs, and tried aggressively reaming the chambers to remove the visible stain from the inside but I could not get the taste to go away. Any other MM pipe is worth your money, but make sure you spend it on any other one....Read More
