Nording: Brown Grain Freehand
Product Number: 002-508-2401
Much like the director Tim Burton, Eric Nording is a visionary artist who cannot be compromised, pigeonholed or mistaken or compared to any other carver. Though inherently anchored in the jaunty gesturing of the bent Dublin, this Freehand bears his love for the floral, from its blooming flare to pedal-like panels to vine transition. Even the strokes of flame grain on the surface resemble organic fibers, following and caressing the pipe's delicate form, while dots of rustication on the rim denote "petal wilt".
