Nording: Partially Rusticated Bent Dublin (11)

Product Number: 002-508-9334

The bowl of this Nording bent Dublin is almost Acorn-like in its shaping — the heel coming to a slight point, while the bowl flares above. Here though, the rim is crisply flattened, with a touch of inward bevel compared to the Acorn's usual, softly rounded style. It's quite a muscular and palm-filling piece with some subtle paneling around the bowl and is lent a good bit of stimulating texture via a healthy dose of Erik's signature partial rustication along its underside and shank. A metal accent along the stem base provides a touch of flash, reinforcing the sense of contrast implied by the subdued tan-and-brown acrylic mouthpiece.
