Nørding: Compass Natural Rusticated MacArthur (with Extra Stem) Tobacco Pipe

Nording's Compass series is a line devoted to the Poker shape, featuring metal shanks and vulcanite stems. It's a minimalist and practical way of presenting the beloved utilitarian shape, the metal shank providing increased durability and able to be easily separated from both the stummel and mouthpiece. This MacArthur version is based on the famous corncob enjoyed by General Douglas MacArthur, featuring a high-set transition set to a tall, cylindrical bowl. It's finished here in a light-depth rustication and left in a natural stain, allowing the stummel to patina with time and use, gradually darkening with each bowl that's enjoyed. It comes complete with two shank-and-stem arrangements — a standard length one as well as a lengthy Churchwarden variation, making it an exceptionally versatile design.
