While the shape of this Freehand is typical of Nording's repertoire, with its nontraditional shaping cues and asymmetrical ridges, this piece differs in that it's seen here in a more reserved stain. The Virgin Grain series looks to highlight the briar's by adorning it in only a simple, natural stain. Needless to say, it works quite well.
