Nørding: Handmade Smooth Paneled Bent Dublin (17) Tobacco Pipe

Graded in ascending prestige from 11 to 30, Erik Nording's Handmade line represents some of the Danish carver's finest work. Each rendition is distinct and entirely hand made, offering unique shaping and quality grain, and this bent Dublin version differs from many of Erik's more Freehand-style iterations in that its stummel is composed of crisp panels across the bowl and shank, each line of the facets aligning beautifully with the trajectory and flare of the pipe itself. Such shaping catches the light wonderfully, and the smooth, lighter finish reveals vertical grain striations, especially striking on the right flank.
