Though Erik Nording's renowned for his Fancy Freehands, the Danish carver produces some truly exceptional organically inspired designs like this Blowfish offering. It maintains the shape's signature disc-like panel on the right flank, the encircling ridgeline juxtaposed to a bulbous, fully rounded left side.. This piece also forgoes Nording's signature rustication, instead opting for warm, smooth finish, which is then strikingly contrasted by the creamy white acrylic stem.
