Erik Nording's penchant for rugged finishes, coupled with his use of Danish Fancy shaping cues, makes his work some of the most distinct in the modern era. The Danish carver's Point Clear series serves as an excellent example of both of those aforementioned characteristics, combining a rugged rustication with a decidedly organic aesthetic.
