Nørding: Hunting Pipe Partially Rusticated Hare (2009) Tobacco Pipe

Erik Nording's Hunting Pipe series introduces a new shape annually, each named after an endangered species. In 2009, it was the Hare and the pipe shape a paneled Brandy design. Wearing a dual finish of a smooth, dark ruby contrast stain with a dark rustication, the bowl and shank's panels are crisply lined, while a jet-black, downturned stem adds a tasteful touch of elegance to this deeply chambered piece.
