Erik Nording's penchant for rugged finishes, coupled with his use of Danish Fancy shaping cues, makes his work some of the most distinct in the modern era. The Danish carver's Point Clear series serves as an excellent example of both of those aforementioned characteristics, combining a rugged rustication with a decidedly organic aesthetic. The domed rim is topped with a hint of plateau, matching the shank end, allowing the craggy rustication around the bowl to remain the focal point. The towering bowl offers ample chamber space for your favorite blends while the in-hand feel is texturally intriguing.
