Nørding: Point Clear Freehand (C) Tobacco Pipe

Erik Nording's Point Clear series still features his famous Danish Fancy style Freehands, but the finish is something a little bit different: The rim and shank ends are left smooth with a honey-blonde stain, while the briar in between is heavily rusticated and darker of stain for a highly rugged, organic texture that calls to mind a pine cone. It's found on this deeply bent Freehand, making for a striking aesthetic that's distinctly Nording but a touch different from his normal fare.
