Nording: Handmade Partially Sandblasted Acorn (333) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-508-15241

This bent Acorn from Erik Nording belongs to the Danish carver's Handmade line, a series of pipes that are, appropriately, fashioned entirely by hand. This piece takes a supple bowl with a high-set waistline and marries it to a curling shank-and-stem arrangement, which promotes a comfortable smoking posture while also lending a touch of sinuosity to the pipe in profile. Dressed in a dual finish, the stummel feature a dark, rugged sandblast across the fore and heel of the bowl, while the rest of the stummel wears a smoky, contrast-stained smooth finish that accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar.
