Nording: Black Smooth Freehand Tobacco Pipe

I'd never seen a large, Danish Freehand executed in an ebony finish, until I'd seen this series from Erik Nording. As unusual as the combination may seem, it does work to emphasize the unique and often complex forms — like that of this bold Freehand featuring a plethora of firm ridges, a touch of plateau along its rim, and a swirling black and white acrylic stem to wrap everything up.
